World Youth Day Seoul 2027

World Youth Day Seoul 2027

"Take courage! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

The World Youth Day Seoul 2027 will be the first to be held in a non-Christian country. Join us for a special experience!

What is the World Youth Day?

World Youth Day, initiated by Pope John Paul II in 1985, is celebrated annually on the Solemnity of Christ the King. Every two or three years, the Pope invites young people from around the world to experience a pilgrimage of joy and unity. This international pilgrimage includes catechesis, a youth festival, and a liturgy with the Pope.

"The next World Youth Day will take place in Asia, in Seoul, South Korea!"
Pope Francis
